The Potomac Association acts as the regional judicatory for the local congregations of the United Church of Christ in the Washington, DC metro area, including the northern Virginia and southern Maryland suburbs.

As the home of the nation's capital, we engage in social action and mission in a variety of forms.  While we do share in advocacy and social justice work with the Federal Government, we are grounded in ministry to and with the people who live and work and minister here.  Our commitment is to be an active presence, seeking God's Reign in our communities.
